Thank you for your comment on my blog re the Aubusson cartoons. Yes, they are works of art in their own right and becoming highly collectable. Some years ago when the floods in Aubusson caused so many to appear on the market it was wonderful but now they are much scarcer. I wish I had bought more at the time. So easy to be wise after the event!
