Beaded Jewellery Classes
Join me each Friday at Gallery 12a to learn a range of skills required to create beaded jewellery.
Each class aims to introduce the skills, tools, tips and techniques to create a completed item of jewellery .
Most of the materials required will be supplied to make one item each class although you may wish to supplement the materials with beads of your own.
We meet 10 am to 2pm and tea and coffee will be supplied - bring a sandwich along for our lunchtime break. Each sesson costs £20.
Below are examples of classes available

You will make a spiral rope necklace similar to these. There will be an eclectic choice of coloured seed beads and a range of gemstone chips to choose from.

You will make a bracelet using mixes of size 8 Czech seed beads and learn a stitch called Even Count Peyote and some Circular Peyote. Size 8 are the best size to use when learning new stitches.

Moving on we will work with Czech seed beads but this week with size 11s which are smaller than those we used previously. Learning how to increase the width of rows you will make a fringed pair of earrings or 2 Key rings . The earwires will be quality Silver Plate - Sterling Silver ones will be available at an extra charge.

This week we will learn how to make loops and make a Kilt Pin or some earrings . This will be a Lucky Dip session for available beads - a bit like raiding your Gran's button tin. You can also bring along beads of your own to incorporate in your designs (PS Buttons can also be used )

We will be using Memory Wire to make a bracelet or necklace . A range of beads will be available to make an item but once again you can incorporate some of your own beads if you like

A strung necklace using Hematite as the focal beads. I have chosen Hematite as it is available in so many various shapes and adds challenge to your design skills. Again you can supplement your own beads in this weeks designs.
